EARLY MORNING SERVICE

• 9.30am at East Devon Crematorium  £2500.00

• Provide conveyance of the deceased from Exeter and surrounding areas to our chapel of rest in Topsham during normal working hours.     8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
• Provide for the preparation and care of the deceased and make the necessary arrangements for the service at chosen crematorium.

 
WHAT IS INCLUDED

• Suitable cremation coffin, choice of basic Willow or Tamar wooden coffin
• Provision of a hearse to transport the deceased to the crematorium on the day of the service
• Fees paid to the crematorium
• Fees paid to doctors for cremation paperwork
• Fees paid to the Officiant

 
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

• Chapel visits and dressing of the deceased
• Ordering of order of service
• Ordering Floral tributes
• Placing of notices in local papers

 
CREMATED REMAINS
The cremated remains can be scattered or collected from your
chosen crematorium or collected from our chapel of rest in Topsham.
 
PAYMENT
Payment must be made in advance of the service taking place.
If the conveyance of the deceased is outside of normal working hours there will be an additional charge of       £150.00
 
N. B. No other service to be added to fixed rate package

FUNERAL DIRECTOR FEES
 
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES  £1200.00

• Making all the necessary arrangements for the cremation or burial
• Obtaining the necessary statutory forms and paying all fees in advance on your behalf
• Personal appearance treatment of the deceased including dressing as requested
• Providing chapel of rest and chapel visits during normal working hours
• Placing notices online or in local newspapers on your behalf
• Dealing with donations to chosen Charities
• Ordering of floral tributes
• Ordering of order of service
• Ordering of music for the service

 
BRINGING INTO CARE - From Exeter & surrounding areas
Provide conveyance of the deceased from the place of death to our chapel of rest in Topsham.

8am - 5pm Monday to Friday £180.00
Outside of normal working hours £280.00

VEHICLES
Provision of a hearse on the day of the service £280.00
 
Provision of a family car on the day of the service (7 seats) £250.00
 
Provision of a family car on the day of the service (4 seats) £140.00

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Service at two locations
If the service takes place at two different locations there will be an additional charge of      £100.00

CHAPEL VISITS

• Provide conveyance of the deceased from Exeter and surrounding areas to our chapel of rest in Topsham, during normal working hours. 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday
• Provide for the preparation and care of the deceased and make the necessary arrangements for a non-attendance cremation at the crematorium.

PAYMENT
The Funeral Account Is Made Up of 2 Parts,

​Funeral Director Fees & Disbursements

• Once an initial consultation has taken place, we will send you a full written estimate of costs.
• It is important to understand that the person who arranges the funeral is responsible for paying the final bill.
• Once the funeral has taken place, we will send out a final account

PAYMENT TERMS
Payment to be made in full within 28 days of the service taking place.

FORMS OF PAYMENT
Through a solicitor

• If a solicitor has been appointed to handle the account, please advise us as soon as possible.

Personal payment

• If you are paying the account yourself, please arrange for a bank transfer or provide us with a cheque.

Handling a deceased estate

• If you are handling the deceased estate yourself, you will need to submit the account to the building society or bank of the deceased.
